If, once confirmation has been received, you are in anyway unsure of what prerequisites or items you need to bring or provide, then your dedicated training manager or the trainer conducting your course will be able to confirm this with you. Course Agenda

The First Aid at Work 2 day Refresher training course is designed to refresh and update participants first aid skills for the workplace. This course covers a range of topics including administering first aid to a casualty with injuries to bones, muscles, and joints, suspected spinal injuries, chest injuries, eye injuries, sudden poisoning, and anaphylactic shock.

Participants will learn how to properly assess and manage these types of injuries, as well as how to provide effective first aid treatments. The course will also cover the use of first aid equipment and how to handle emergency situations in the workplace.

The course will be delivered over two days and will include a combination of theory and practical sessions. Participants will have the opportunity to practice their skills in simulated scenarios, allowing them to gain confidence and experience in providing first aid in a safe and controlled environment.

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate that is valid for three years. This course is suitable for those who have previously completed a First Aid at Work course and are looking to refresh their knowledge and skills. It is also ideal for those who work in high-risk environments or have a duty to provide first aid in the workplace. Take the ramp towards Inverness/AECC/A96 and turn left onto Chapel of Stoneywood - Fairley Road. At Craibstone Roundabout, take the third exit onto A96, then at Bucksburn Roundabout, take the second exit to stay on A96. Continue onto N Anderson Drive/A92, then take the first exit onto Rosehill Drive/A9012. Turn right onto Hilton Drive, and at Six Roads Roundabout, take the second exit onto Back Hilton Road. Keep going onto Berryden Road, turn right onto B986, and after two roundabouts, continue onto Woolmanhill/B9119. At the next roundabout, take the second exit onto Denburn Road/B986, then turn left onto Wapping Street/A93 and right onto Carmelite Street/A93. Youll find The Training Centre on your right. Accreditation

Upon successful completion of the First Aid at Work 2 day Refresher training course, candidates will receive a First Aid at Work certificate that is valid for three years. This certificate is recognized by the Health and Safety Executive HSE and meets the requirements for workplace first aiders.

To ensure that first aid skills remain up-to-date and effective, we recommend completing an annual update of your first aid skills. This is in line with HSE recommendations and best practice. Our refresher course provides a comprehensive review of first aid techniques and procedures.
