The 1 day Emergency First Aid at Work course meets the requirements set by the Health & Safety Executive and the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. This course is designed to give delegate the confidence and competence to act in the event of an emergency, whilst waiting for further medical help to arrive....

This course is designed for individuals working in low-risk environments if you work in a high hazard work environment please refer to our First Aid at Work course.

Joining Instructions

The 1 Day Emergency First Aid at Work course can either be run at your own venue for larger groups of delegates, OR alternatively for individuals or small groups we run courses at our public venue in Guildford, Surrey.

Course Agenda

The course is recommended by the Health and Safety Executive for low hazard environments where you are required to have a first aider on site. It follows the HSE guidelines for 1 day Emergency First Aid at Work courses; Managing and planning for an emergency Unconscious casualty Primary Survey CPR (Adult) Shock Seizures Fainting Choking (Adult) Strokes, Heart Attacks, Breathing Difficulties Burns Bleeding (Minor and severe) Use of the Automatic External Defibrillator.

Welcome to the Leatherhead Training Centre! Located in the charming town of Leatherhead, our centre is easily accessible from the A24. Simply head southwest on Leatherhead Rd and take the 3rd exit at the roundabout onto Leatherhead By-Pass Rd. From there, take the 1st exit onto Leatherhead By-Pass Rd and then the 2nd exit at the next roundabout onto Kingston Rd. Turn right onto Woodbridge Ave and then left onto Rye Brook Rd. Finally, take a right and youll reach the training centre at KT227QJ. Our centre offers top-notch training facilities and a friendly atmosphere to help you achieve your goals. Accreditation

The Emergency First Aid at Work EFAW training course is accredited and recognized by the Health and Safety Executive HSE in the UK. Successful candidates will receive a certificate that is valid for 3 years.
