Who Should Attend?
The Emergency First Aid at Work training programme is designed for delegates whose employment requires them to manage a medical situation until help arrives. Alternatively where an employer's assessment of first aid identifies that a First Aider is not necessary, the minimum requirement is that they appoint a person to take charge of first aid facilities and emergency arrangements.
Joining Instructions
IMPORTANT – If you have returned within 14 days from a part of the world affected by the virus or have been in close contact with someone with or who are themselves displaying symptoms you will not be permitted to attend. On arrival we ask for everyone to wash/clean his or her hands for a minimum of 20 seconds and will be encouraged on a regular basis to do so.
Course Agenda
The Emergency First Aid at Work EFAW training course is designed to equip individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge to handle emergency situations in the workplace. The first part of the course focuses on the role of the first aider, which includes understanding the legal requirements and responsibilities of a first aider, as well as the importance of remaining calm and acting quickly in an emergency situation.
