Course Information
This course is in line with the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and meets the needs of Ofsted. It is suitable for Child minders, Nursery and School staff (dealing with Foundation Stage) and anybody who deals with children and wants a more in-depth course. This one day (6 hour) course is delivered at your venue, by a paediatric specialist and includes both theory and practical sessions.

First Aid Priorities, Managing Incidents, Basic Life Support-Adult - Child & Baby, Casualty Examination, Choking, Unconsciousness, Anaphylaxis, Fractures, Control of Bleeding & Shock, Asthma, Eye & Ear Injuries, Burns and Scalds, First Aid Kits, Childhood Illnesses including Meningitis & Febrile Convulsions, Regulations, Recording and Reporting.
The Paediatric First Aid 1 Day training course is designed to equip participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to handle medical emergencies involving children and infants. The course covers a wide range of topics, including first aid priorities, managing incidents, and basic life support for adults, children, and babies. Participants will also learn how to conduct a casualty examination and provide first aid for common injuries such as choking, unconsciousness, and fractures.
