Welcome to The Training Centre in Sheffield S4 7YW! Were on the 3rd floor, so if you have impaired mobility, please make prior arrangements. Parking is limited on site, but theres plenty of free spaces on the road outside.Head north on the M1 towards Wakefield, exiting at J34 onto the A6109 to Sheffield. At Meadowhall Roundabout, take the 4th exit onto Meadowhall Rd/A6109, following it to Brightside Ln/A6109. Turn left onto Sutherland St/A6178, right onto Leveson St/B6082, then left onto Effingham Rd/B6073. Well be on your left after the roundabout.Lunches arent provided, so grab something nearby! What You Need to Know Before Attending
First Aid at Work training is open to anyone who has been chosen to act as a first aider or who simply wants solid first aid knowledge for their workplace. No formal qualifications are needed beforehand, though it helps to arrive ready to take part in practical exercises. Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy movement, as you will be practising on the floor and with training equipment.

The day blends short explanations with plenty of hands-on practice, so you will spend time working through real-life scenarios in small groups. Trainers guide everyone step by step, giving feedback as you build confidence with each skill. Regular breaks are built in, and you will be assessed on how well you apply what you learn rather than through written tests.
About
This course gives you the practical skills to deal with common workplace injuries and sudden illness, including CPR and wound care. You will leave with recognised certification that allows you to carry out first aid duties at work. The focus is on building calm, effective responses through guided practice and clear instruction.
