Joining Instructions

The HSE regulations state that all delegates undertaking this course must be in possession of their First Aid at Work qualification. It must not have expired beyond 28 days of the expiry date as shown on their First Aid at Work Certificate. If the certificate has expired beyond the 28 day period then it will be necessary for the delegate to attend a full 3-day First Aid at Work course.

Course Agenda

The First Aid at Work 2 day Refresher training course is designed to refresh and update participants first aid skills for the workplace. This course covers a range of topics including administering first aid to a casualty with injuries to bones, muscles, and joints, suspected spinal injuries, chest injuries, eye injuries, sudden poisoning, and anaphylactic shock.

Participants will learn how to properly assess and manage these types of injuries, as well as how to provide effective first aid treatments. The course will also cover the use of first aid equipment and how to handle emergency situations in the workplace.

The course will be delivered over two days and will include a combination of theory and practical sessions. Participants will have the opportunity to practice their skills in simulated scenarios, allowing them to gain confidence and experience in providing first aid in a safe and controlled environment.

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate that is valid for three years. This course is suitable for those who have previously completed a First Aid at Work course and are looking to refresh their knowledge and skills. So you can focus on learning and not worry about finding a place to eat. Getting to the Training Centre is easy. If youre coming from the M4 motorway, simply take exit 15 towards Swindon/A419. Then merge onto the A419 and continue for about 3 miles. Take the exit towards Wanborough and at the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Wanborough Road. Accreditation

Upon successful completion of the First Aid at Work 2 day Refresher training course, candidates will receive a First Aid at Work certificate that is valid for three years. This certificate is recognized by the Health and Safety Executive HSE and meets the requirements for workplace first aiders.
