Understand the safety implications of carrying out Street works, with reference to the safety of persons engaged on the works and avoidance of danger to the general public.Demonstrate the correct layout of appropriate signs, barriers, lamps, warning notices in compliance with the relevant documentsMaintain the correct operation of portable traffic signals.

Accreditation

Upon successful completion, delegates will receive NRSWA Accredited certification valid for 5 years. This certification is recognized by the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 and is a requirement for anyone working on the UKs highways. It demonstrates the individuals competence in Signing, Lighting and Guarding Unit 2by10.

The NRSWA Accredited certification is highly regarded by employers in the construction and utility industries.
