Course Agenda

Candidates should demonstrate their competence to: The use of first aid equipment including the contents of a first aid kit An action plan for an emergency including record keeping The importance of personal hygiene during first aid To be able to manage a casualty that is suffering from: Cardiac Arrest Provide basic instruction in the use of an AED Is unconscious Is wounded or bleeding Is suffering from shock History, signs and symptoms Has been burned or scalded May have been poisoned or exposed to a harmful substance Choking Childhood conditions such as meningitis.

Once inside, feel free to help yourself to complimentary refreshments, including tea, coffee, and water, to keep you energised throughout your training. Accreditation

The Paediatric First Aid 2 Day training course is accredited by XYZ Training Group and is part of the First Aid family of training courses. Successful candidates will receive a certificate that is valid for three years.

This certificate is awarded upon completion of the course and successful continuous assessment. There is no final examination, as the focus is on practical skills and knowledge.
