Who Should Attend?

Anyone wishing to enter the Security Industry as a security operative or a Door Supervisor working on licensed premises.

Joining Instructions

Learners must be over 18yrs of age to apply for an SIA Door Supervisors Licence and have a good command of the English language as the role has identified that at times a Door Supervisor will have to liaise wit the emergency services and give evidence in court. Learner must also have the relevant forms of ID as required by the SIA and awarding bodies.

Course Agenda

A four day course with Module one conducted via distance learning, there are three multiple choice exams conducted as well as a practical assessment on Module four. This ensures the learner achieves the required knowledge and understanding to work in the industry and they are competent in the Physical Intervention aspect..

Each day begins at 8am an finishes at 5.30pm

Accreditation

By completing the National Certificate for Door Supervisors, candidates become eligible for an SIA licence. This allows them to legally work as a door supervisor. Successful candidates receive temporary certificates of attendance from Xyz Training Group, serving as proof of completion and eligibility to work as an SIA Door Supervisor.

Accreditations earned through the course are automatically added to the National Training Card. This makes it easier for employers to verify qualifications and allows candidates to start working immediately, provided they have also applied for and received their SIA license.

Upon successful completion of the SIA Door Supervisor training course, candidates receive a National Certificate and temporary certificates of attendance from Xyz Training Group. These enable them to obtain an SIA license and start working as a door supervisor. The courses accreditations are also added to the National Training Card for easy verification by employers..

There are three multi-choice examinations with various pass rates and a practical assessment on the Physical Intervention module.. Yes, the learner must achieve the required pass rate in each exam and also competency in the practical assessment.
