Course Information

To provide experienced operators of forklift trucks with up to date information and a reminder of the skills and knowledge to safely carry out their duties as recommended. Proof of previous training is required.

Who Should Attend?

Anyone required to refresh job safety knowledge, and give corrective remedial and tests to operators who though previously trained and certificated may require a short safety refresher course, to maintain the correct standards of operation at an acceptable level.

Joining Instructions

Specific Telehandler CPCS A17 joining instructions will be supplied to you (if appropriate) once your booking is confirmed. If, once confirmation has been received, you are in anyway unsure of what prerequisites or items you need to bring or provide, then your dedicated training manager or the trainer conducting your course will be able to confirm this with you. Course Agenda

The Forklift Truck Refresher 1 Day training course covers key topics such as legislation, operator safety code, and forklift truck stability. Participants will also learn about the factors that can cause forward and sideways tipping, as well as how to conduct pre-start and operational checks. Driving and maneuvering techniques will also be covered.

Participants will also learn about stacking and de-stacking at low and high levels, including eye level. This includes proper techniques for safely moving and positioning loads. Additionally, correct shutdown and parking procedures will be taught to ensure safe and efficient use of forklift trucks.

Welcome to The Training Centre in Sutton In Ashfield! Getting here is straightforward. If youre coming from the A38 Mansfield, head northeast towards Locks Acre, then turn right onto B4509. Merge onto the M5 towards The Midlands, and take the M42 exit towards Solihull. Continue onto the M1, then take the A38 exit towards Mansfield. At the Pinxton Interchange, take the 4th exit onto Alfreton Rd/A38, turn right onto Sutton Rd/B6018, and left onto Wentworth Rd. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit, then the 2nd onto Lindrick Rd. After passing through one roundabout, turn left onto Southwell Ln, and finally left onto Summit Cl. The Training Centre will be on your right. Enjoy your time with us! Refreshments will be provided, and theres an onsite canteen for lunch. If you have any dietary needs, just let us know in advance.
