Course Information

The aim of the course is to provide candidates with the basic understanding and practical skills involved in becoming a Vehicle Banksman. During the course the delegate will learn how to direct traffic safely on a worksite, adequately controlling any risks. By the end of the course they will have a thorough understanding of all the risks involved with directing highway traffic and vehicle movement, and be able to carry out the role of Vehicle Banksman with complete confidence. They will also be issued with a Certificate to evidence their capabilities.

Bear left at the pub, head down the hill, and take a left onto the estateThe Training Centre will be the first building on your left. Alternatively, if youre coming from Saltley Road, turn into Cato Street North, and when you see the Albion Vaults on your right, turn right, go down the hill, and take a left onto the estate. Please note that parking is limited outside the centre and is available on a first come, first served basis. If youre in a larger vehicle, free parking is also available on Nechells Place.
