Course Information

The aim of the course is to provide candidates with the basic understanding and practical skills involved in becoming a Vehicle Banksman. During the course the delegate will learn how to direct traffic safely on a worksite, adequately controlling any risks. By the end of the course they will have a thorough understanding of all the risks involved with directing highway traffic and vehicle movement, and be able to carry out the role of Vehicle Banksman with complete confidence. They will also be issued with a Certificate to evidence their capabilities.

Welcome to The Training Centre in Milton Keynes! Getting here is straightforward, but do keep in mind that parking is quite limited right outside. If youre arriving in a large van or lorry, you wont be able to park nearby. Instead, consider parking for free on Lyon Road, but be sure to arrive early as spaces fill up quickly.To reach us, start from the A5 Milton Keynes and head west on Rampart Way. At the roundabout, take the 4th exit onto the M54 ramp towards Birmingham. Merge onto the M6, then take the M1 exit. At junction 14, take the A509 exit and continue until you reach the Northfield Roundabout, where youll take the 2nd exit onto H6 Childs Way/A4146.
