Outdoor First Aid is the recognised UK qualification for individuals working or leading activities in remote or rural environments where access to emergency services may be delayed. The course develops the ability to assess and manage casualties in settings such as hills, woodlands, coastlines and expedition terrain, using both standard first aid equipment and improvised resources. Delegates learn to apply clinical skills while considering weather, terrain and limited external support.
