Overview:
First Response Emergency Care Level 4 (FREC 4) is the comprehensive UK qualification that equips delegates with the knowledge and practical skills required to manage a wide range of medical and trauma emergencies before ambulance arrival. The course follows the current Resuscitation Council (UK) and Health and Safety Executive guidelines and prepares learners to work confidently as part of an emergency response team in high-risk or remote environments. What you will achieve as a result:
Successful delegates receive the Qualsafe Level 4 Award in First Response Emergency Care certificate. The qualification is valid for three years and can be maintained through annual refresher training and a full requalification course before expiry. The certificate is widely recognised by employers and allows progression to Level 5 First Response Emergency Care or paramedic pathways.
